Punchwire. Ridiculously simple team task management.

Email is great for some things, but it's terrible for getting things done. And call me old-fashioned, but I like getting things done.

Early on in my career I worked with an amazingly smart and efficient team to get complicated things done at an incredible pace. About 6 months into the job, I realized that I had only received a handful of emails the whole time I'd been there. At that point it dawned on me how much more work got done when complicated assignments were broken down into simple steps and those steps were made in a clear, concise way with the end product clearly defined.

I attribute most of the success of that team to its leader, who possessed an amazing abiltity to turn a complicated problem into simple, logical tasks that eventually added up to an impressive and complete solution. It was indeed an art, and something that I've tried to master ever since.

Punchwire is my personal interpretation of our old team task system, similar to the system we built and used back then but upgraded with the bells and whistles of today's web tools. It is designed to allow teams to get things done quickly, every time.
